Christmas Gifts for Families in Emergency Shelter
This year St. Christopher’s “shoebox ministry” will provide Christmas gifts for five moms and 17 children in the Salvation Army’s Houston County emergency shelter.
The good news is you don’t need a shoebox to participate. Here’s all you have to do:
* Review the list of moms and children below.
* Pick one (or more) for whom you will provide gifts, and tell Gale, our coordinator at 478-256-1354.
* Place your gift in a gift bag, and return it to St. Christopher’s parish hall.
A few extra guidelines:
* Follow guidelines for suggested items, and things NOT to buy.
* Tag your gift to show who it’s for (example Mother A1, Child C2, etc.)
* Leave the gift bag un-sealed. Salvation Army personnel may reallocate some gifts.
Gift drop off dates:
Sunday Dec. 6 from 9:45 - 11:00
Thursday Dec. 10 from 10:00 - 3:00
Tuesday Dec. 15 from 10:00 - 3:00
Make Christmas happier for someone in need!
