Obituary
Travis Daniel-Thomas Foskey, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 15, 2021 at the Perry Hospital. Services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with Reverend Charles Osborne officiating and Ricky Foskey with reflections. He will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley, GA in a private family ceremony.
Travis, a.k.a. Top Dawg Travis Foskey was born on March 20, 1978 in Warner Robins, GA to Richard Foskey, Sr., and Judith (Osborne) Foskey. He was currently employed as a lead technician for Advanced Security Systems. Travis was a 1998 graduate of Perry High School. He faithfully and honorably served his country for 6 years in the United States Marine Corps. He earned the honor of expert marksman. Travis was a huge University of Georgia Bulldawgs fan. He was the star and producer of The Travis Foskey Show which he became known as Top Dawg Travis Foskey. He was able to use this outlet to share his passion for the Georgia Bulldogs and football. He made scores of friends that became a family. Travis also spent his time fishing, hunting, at the beach and cracking jokes. Travis met Danielle Graham in 1997 and married in November 18th 2005 (divorced 2012). He had four children (one who proceeded him in death). Travis was a loving and proud Father, Brother, Uncle and Son.
Travis was loved by everyone who knew him. He was charismatic and knew how to flash that signature grin. He will be missed in the hearts of many.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved children: Abigail Leigh Tomlinson of Hawkinsville, GA, Travis Lonzie-Richard Foskey of Perry, GA and Judith Lannie-Hope Foskey of Bonaire, GA; brother: Ricky Foskey (Jessica) of Warner Robins, GA; Parents: Richard Edmond Foskey Sr. and Judith E. Foskey of Perry GA. and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, The Travis Foskey show fans and the Awaken the Nation Group.
