Deacon Tea for Epiphany

Merry Christmas!  I wish you all a safe and festive New Year. 

We are taking a little holiday break from our teatime with the Deacon.  However, we plan to meet back for tea on Sundays after the Epiphany. 

We spent a lot of time with Matthew this last Pentecost.  Now we will share our stories with Mark in this next season after the Epiphany.  Although the collective minds of the Lectionary did spend a moment with the Gospel according to John.  While Mark can be more meticulous in his storytelling, it may be nice to venture off into John’s journey of the word for a moment.
