Find Your Gift

Dear Friends of St. Christopher’s,

Pablo Picasso once said:

The meaning of life is to find your gift.
The purpose of life is to give it away.

God has given all of us gifts. Have you found yours?

Time, talent, and treasure are all gifts from God. We all should be good stewards of our gifts. We can find great joy in sharing our gifts with others. During this Stewardship Campaign, we would like everyone to think about finding their gift and sharing it with others.

We could say the goal of this campaign is to secure sufficient pledges to keep the lights on and the doors open. A balanced budget is a worthy goal. But are we answering God’s call to go into the world and share our time, talent, and treasure with those less fortunate? What is it that we want for St. Christopher’s?

This simple message of finding your gift and then giving it away can be applied in so many different ways. Let’s take the next few weeks to explore it together, and think about it in terms of mission and ministry. We look forward to taking this journey together, finding our gifts, and sharing them with joy.
