Advent Activities at St. Christopher's

Perry Volunteer Outreach (PVO) has once again asked us to provide green beans for Christmas food baskets. Five hundred cans is quite a hill of beans! But we’ve done it before, and with your help we’ll do it again. Please deliver your cans to the parlor no later than Thursday December 13.

Also due on Thursday are Christmas gift bags and shoe boxes. There’s quite a nice pile of them in the parlor already, and they really will be appreciated by those spending Christmas in the emergency shelter. If you selected a tag off the Christmas tree in the parish hall, please bring your gift in by Thursday.

Finally, the greening of the church takes place Sunday, December 16 at 4 p.m. Don’t miss this fun annual gathering to decorate the nave and sanctuary for Christmas. Many hands make light work, and there will be refreshments afterward, so I hope you can make it!
